NAMES IN THE NEWS
DIANA LAING has joined Thomas Properties Group as CFO. Laing most previously served as CFO of Triple Net Properties LLC and principal and CFO of New Pacific Realty Corp.
DIETRICH KNOER has been named senior vice president and chief investment officer of Higgins Development Partners. In his new role, Knoer will be responsible for underwriting the firm's development projects and investment programs, focusing specifically on deal structure and joint venture formation. Prior to joining Higgins, Knoer was a principal at JP Morgan Partners.
KATHERINE ROBERSON has been promoted to president of Combined Properties Inc. Roberson, who began her career at Combined Partners 13 years ago, most recently served as executive vice president of the firm.
JERRY BRUNO has joined Younan Properties Inc. as director of asset management. In his new position, Bruno will be responsible for managing the firm's assets in California. Prior to joining Younan, Bruno worked as director of property management for BH Properties.
MITCHELL FRIEDEL has been named executive vice president of Robert K. Futterman & Associates LLC (RKF). Friedel will head RKF Retail Property Advisors, a new division of RKF that specializes in retail leasing, consulting and merchandising. Previously, Friedel was executive vice president of Related Retail Advisors, a division of The Related Cos. LLP.
JOSE HEVIA has been appointed president of Codina Development Corp. Prior to joining Codina Construction, Hevia was project manager for M.K. Roark Inc. and architectural project manager for Occampo, Trevio Associates of Broward County, Fla.
